2017 Forest River Rockwood Signature Fifth Wheel – Clean Interior – Quality Construction – Excellent OpportunityThis 2017 Forest River Rockwood Signature is a spacious, well-built fifth wheel that offers an excellent combination of comfort, quality construction, storage, and residential-style living. The Rockwood Signature series was one of Forest River’s more upscale fifth-wheel lines, designed for owners who wanted something comfortable enough for extended trips and seasonal use without moving into an extremely large or heavy luxury fifth wheel.Inside, this coach has a warm, traditional RV interior with substantial cabinetry, plenty of storage, a full kitchen, private bedroom and bathroom, and a comfortable living area. It has the type of layout and construction that makes it easy to spend more than just a weekend in.Overall, the interior presents very well for a 2017 model and appears to have been taken care of.CONDITIONThis fifth wheel carries a salvage title due to a crack at the rear passenger-side corner of the trailer. We want bidders to understand exactly what the damage is, which is why we have included close-up photos of the affected area. The damage is localized to the exterior rear corner. The crack does not extend through to the inside of the trailer, and we have found no structural issues associated with it.We also do not see evidence of water intrusion or interior water damage related to this area. The wall and interior directly opposite the exterior damage appear unaffected. From what we can see, this is primarily a localized exterior repair rather than damage that affects the usability of the fifth wheel. Please review the close-up photos carefully and make your own determination regarding the repair.Aside from this area, the trailer presents very nicely for its age. The interior is clean, the cabinetry and living areas show well, and this is not a fifth wheel that appears heavily worn or abused.WHY ROCKWOOD SIGNATURERockwood has built a strong reputation in the RV market, and the Signature series was designed as a step above a basic entry-level fifth wheel. These trailers are known for offering a comfortable residential-style interior, extensive cabinetry and storage, practical floor plans, and quality construction while remaining more manageable than many of the extremely large luxury fifth wheels. For someone wanting a fifth wheel for traveling, extended stays, seasonal camping, or simply a comfortable home away from home, this Rockwood Signature provides a lot of trailer without requiring an enormous coach.A GREAT AUCTION OPPORTUNITYWe are a dealership based in Utah and acquire motorhomes, fifth wheels, travel trailers, and other RVs from throughout the United States. Most of our inventory is traditionally sold through our dealership, but we occasionally select units to offer directly through AuctionTime, giving bidders around the country an opportunity to purchase them through a straightforward public auction. This Rockwood Signature is one of those opportunities.Because of the salvage title and relatively localized exterior damage, someone may be able to purchase a very nice fifth wheel for considerably less than what a comparable clean-title unit would typically command. For the right buyer, that can represent an excellent value.Rather than trying to make an older RV look perfect, our goal is to show buyers what is actually here. We provide detailed photos, point out the known damage, and encourage bidders to review everything carefully before bidding.WHY THIS ONE IS WORTH A LOOKWhat makes this Rockwood particularly appealing is that the title history is associated with an easily visible and clearly photographed area of exterior damage. There are no obvious signs that the damage extends into the living area, no visible related interior water damage, and no structural problems that we have identified.Combine that with the clean interior, comfortable Rockwood Signature layout, extensive storage, and overall condition, and this could be an excellent fifth wheel for someone who is less concerned about the word on the title and more concerned about the actual trailer they are getting.Year: 2017Manufacturer: Forest RiverSeries: Rockwood SignatureType: Fifth WheelTitle: SalvageKnown Damage: Localized crack at rear passenger-side exterior cornerInterior Damage From Crack: None observedWater Damage Associated With Crack: None observedStructural Issues Associated With Crack: None observedPlease look through all of the photos carefully before bidding.
